Surf and Kite surf lessons in Lagos and Meia Praia
Meia Praia, one of Lagos’s main beaches is awesome for water sports. Our surf school is located here, 45 minutes from Faro Airport. No other place in Europe allows regularly surfing great waves in the morning and kiting steady wind in the afternoon. If it is flat and calm the water is perfect for wakeboarding.
Literally you can be surfing on the west coast of Algarve, for example in Amado Beach, and return to Lagos or Alvor to finish the day doing kite surf. All within a few kilometers distance and in the same day! Algarve is one of the best destinations to surf and kite surf in Portugal offering surf all year round with hot summers and mild winters.
Algarve's lineups are less crowded than in Ericeira or Peniche however it's not fair to say that surf or kite surfing in Algarve is less attractive, actually is the opposite! The vast region of Algarve has two coasts giving you many surf and kite surf possibilities. The south coast, with surf spots between Sagres and as far as Tavira goes, and the west coast with surf spots facing straight the Atlantic Ocean from Sagres to Aljezur.
