Tamraght is a charming village located on a hill overlooking the ocean, it is situated 14 km from Agadir and just 3 km from the famous Taghazout. Its welcoming inhabitants and growing surf culture make it the perfect place to spend an unforgettable Morocco holidays. Tamraght is facing eight surf spots and our Surf House in Tamraght is just a few minutes walk to Banana Beach, Spider and Devil’s Rock. It has some of the most consistent surfing conditions in the region, ranging from waves for those just starting out to large waves for experienced surfers. The region has a micro-climate which includes an average of 330 days of sunshine per year.
We offer many options for accommodation, for all tastes: double rooms with twin beds or with a double bed, modular rooms and the new concept of shared room in our special room “Berber Dorm” There is also an amazing chill-out area where you can wind down, watching the sunset over the waves, drinking a cup of tea or taking part in a BBQ.
Stay for 7 nights in our traditional Berbere family house, and learn to surf with us! Suitable for beginner or intermediate surfers, you’ll have 6 days of surf coaching with our experienced instructor and board and wetsuit hire for the week – giving you everything you need for a great week of surfing. With a delicious breakfast, on-the-beach lunch and homemade dinners all included, we’ll make sure you don’t go hungry. And if you feel like delving into our traditions, you can also get involved in cooking classes to learn the local dishes that we make, and improve your knowledge of the Arabic and Berbere languages. You’ll also get to enjoy rooftop activities like a BBQ and bonfire, and plenty of time to hang out with other guests, as well as a surf movie night with one of our favorite films.
Our team will be on hand all week to help you, and impart their Berbere knowledge on you! Free wifi in the house will make your life a little easier too, so you can keep in touch with things at home if you’d like to. And of course we’ll pick you up from the airport and take you back there when it’s time to leave. There’s also the opportunity to do extra trips such as Essaouira and Paradise Valley, or other activities like hammams or sandboarding – check out or optional extra activities page for more information. With everything sorted for you, we hope to make your time with us as enjoyable and relaxing as possible!

Despite its Norths African location, Morocco is very much a part of the European surf trail. Located between 20º and 35º latitude with a NW facing coastline, Morocco has all the key elements for an outstanding surf destination. The Taghazout area in the south nestles behind a big cape, which funnels the predominant north winds into a offshore direction. The spots are all easily accessible by road with the waves generally breaking right over flat rock and sand. With balmy winter land temperatures, cheap living and a fascinating cultural diversity, Morocco is a must for the European surf traveller.
