Some call it "The paradise on earth" because it is one of the few places that still retains its natural state. It's a unique landscape with 1200 islands divided into 26 atolls stretching from Ihavandhippolhu Atoll in the north to the Addu City in the south. It's impossible to visit them all but we can take you on our trips and show you some of the the highlights both inland and underwater.
The Maldives are a paradise for surfing with countless surf breaks. The best way to discover this unique country it is by boat! Cruising through its countless islands with lush palm trees, shimmering beaches, turquoise lagoons and coral reefs filled with immense colors is something you'll never forget, especially if you're on board of an exclusive yacht like Carpe Diem.
The Carpe Diem is a 35m long motor safari yacht with 10 spacious cabins of different standards divided over 3 decks that can cater for a maximum of 20 people. All cabins have individually controlled AC, safety deposit boxes and their own private ensuite bathroom with toilet and hot water shower.
On the main deck there is a lounge area with a wide flat screen TV, DVD/MP3 player. Outside of the lounge area there is another sitting area in the shade with comfortable cushions, where you can have your afternoon tea overlooking the beautiful sunsets of the Indian Ocean. On the main deck there are also located two double cabins, the kitchen, laundry room and another open air sitting area at the back of the boat.
On the upper deck you'll find the suite cabins and deluxe cabins. An open air dining and bar area is located at the back of the boat where you will be served semi buffet meals prepared by the chef.
From the dining area a staircase takes you to a wide sun deck partially shaded with a sitting area in the middle and some lounge chairs to get a nice tan.
What makes the Carpe Diem a special boat is the service provided by a dedicated and experienced crew, that will do everything for you to have an unforgettable time during your stay on the Carpe Diem.
The most famous breaks are in North Male Atolls where the surf season runs mainly from April to October. The bigger swells run from June to August with 2 to 8 ft waves. North and South Male Atolls are the most popular and best seller packs for surf trips in the Maldives but the real treasures are in the deep South...
Let us know if you want to book one of these trips down south. We can organise you a tailored surf trip to any place in the Maldives.
The southern most point of the Maldives in Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll offer the most incredible waves with no crowds at all! Here the best surf is from February to April and from September to November, as there are always waves in the area but the winds become very strong at other times of the year.
