San Sebastian has two major breaks working on different swell and tide conditions.
The most popular is Zurriola, a sandy beach right in San Sebastian's downtown with with a very nice atmosphere. It has all the facilities a urban beach is suposed to have like showers, bars, board rentals. Here you can surf a quality right-hand wave on the eastern end of the beach, where a WQS contest takes place every year. The more eastern you go, the more demanding it becomes.
Another top spot, not as consistent but equaly challenging is the Ondarreta point break, in San Sebastian's bay - La Concha beach.
The entire region of Basque Country has many renowned surf spots all along its coast, that you can easily take a quick trip to, such as Mundaka, Sopelana or Hossegor in France. From August to October you can watch many ASP contests held in the region, where all the Surfing Elite comes together! On the Surfari pack we will take you to all these palces!
