Surfinn Surf Camps definitely recommends you to take the full board option and taste the delicious  Moroccan dishes cooked by our local chef! Mornings start with a nutritional breakfast while the instructors and surf guides load up the vans with all the equipment. With the surf camp package you will get all the surf equipment included, but you can always bring your own surf gear. 

Our surf instructors will guide you to the best surf spots in the area according to the swell, tide and winds. You can have two or three sessions per day with lunch served at the beach, making sure that you'll take the most of your surf holidays in Morocco. By the end of the day, we will jump again in our vans and drive back to the Surf Camp where you can have a rest and watch incredible sunsets. After dinner, you decide: party, video coaching, workshop sessions or socializing with people from different nationalities. Welcome to the best surf spot in Morocco. And guess what… just a few meters from your bedroom! Anchor Point is up North of Taghazout village and marks the beginning of a 4 km stretch of sandy beaches. This point break was first surfed by Australians in the 60’s and became a world class break that works well with Northwest swells.

The images speak for itself, Anchor Point is a right hander long wave formed in bigger days by 3 sections with a sandy bottom that works well on all tides. When it is pumping, you can reach the Taghazout beach, at least that is what motivates some of the surfers. Anchor Point, like most of the waves in Taghazout area, offers waves for all levels and experience, from mellow waves for beginners to barrels that can only be surfed by experienced surfers or at least those that don't fear some wipe outs from time to time! 

The majority of our guests are intermediate surfers looking for a relatively safe environment and to improve their point break skills. If Anchor Point gets crowded, then our surf guides and instructors can always drive to less crowded, yet also exciting surf spots, like Mysteries, La Source, Killers, Hash Point and Panoramas. In a relatively short area, you will be able to surf all types of waves, yet most are right handers.

The best season to surf in Morocco is the Winter when the bigger swells come and the weather is still great. Anchor Point for example will not work well from April to October, as it needs some size (at least 3ft). However other surf breaks like Killers can work with much smaller swells.
